Last Friday, STCP presented its first 100% electric midi buses. This €3 million investment, financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, will strengthen operations in the eastern part of the city of Porto.
STCP and Arcádia are joining forces for the first time to celebrate Easter with a free initiative dedicated to children and adults. Next Saturday, March 28th, Largo Amor de Perdição (Cordoaria) will be the stage for an experience that combines the tradition of public transport with the sweetness of Porto's chocolate shop.
STCP will adapt its operations during the Easter period, with temporary timetable changes and reinforcements on some lines. The changes coincide with the school break and the usual reduction in demand, ensuring a service adjusted to the needs of passengers in the different municipalities of the Porto Metropolitan Area.
Between March 25th and 28th, STCP will reinforce its operations to facilitate access to Qualifica, the largest event in the Northern Region in the areas of education, training and youth, which takes place at Exponor.
After an initial period of adaptation to the start of the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), STCP is beginning a new phase of reorganizing its network. Starting March 9th, operations will be aligned with the BRT system, aiming to strengthen intermodality and ensure faster and more reliable connections for passengers.
